Some feel they want to do something, send a message, make Verizon think twice, etc.
If that's you, here's an idea.
Forget canceling your Verizon account, or trying to affect them financially, no point.
What Verizon(and all corporations)fear most is the general public finding out about their layoffs, and the true extent of them. Yes, sometimes it gets out, but they do everything they can to hide them, or at least downplay the numbers.
So, simply letting the world know what happened strikes terror in their hearts. Social media, telling friends, whatever you can do. You may not understand why this is such a fear of theirs, and neither do I, but I know it is.
And yes, they may just think twice about the next layoffs if enough attention is garnered by this. Social media is excellent for spreading a word to thousands, fast. Don't underestimate it.
I'm doing it, and posturing it as something people aren't being told, because it is. Dont let Verizon get away with this without people knowing, then they will have won completely and will have no reservations about the next round.
