As a current State Farm employee who was impacted by the reorganization, Ive watch several of my friends leave or retire from The Farm. The choices the company gives are irrational. They’ve become a metrics based organization ever since Tipsord started putting his hands in the cookie jar.
And how’s that working for the Farm? It’s not. Claims have gone from a 3 day time service to a 3 week time service. Agents are passed around when calling with questions. Back in the day, State Farm was the company to work for.
Now they’re ranked three hundred and something on the top 500 Best Companies to work for list. Rather than being a progressive company, they are regressing into just another crappy corporation that doesn’t consider their employees as a valuable resource. But, rather rely on metric and the bottom line.
So, how’s that working out? Not well. People are cancelling policies in droves. Nice job Tipsord. Thanks for turning a great company into a less than mediocre one.
