Blue Owl is looking for a talented mid-level Product Manager interested in a high growth role at an early stage startup. Our product team is small but growing, so your role matters. You'll own the development and ongoing enhancements of one area, but be connected to all areas of the product meaning you'll have a chance to influence product strategy and more.
In this position, you’ll identify, define, analyze, prioritize and refine requirements, and then communicate those requirements to the development team. You’ll need to prioritize trade-offs and work to drive user stories to acceptance throughout the Agile software development lifecycle. You’ll work directly with various internal and external stakeholders, including supporting senior staff, and report to our quad of Product Directors.
Responsibilities:
Set long-term vision and strategy and define minimum viable product for your product area
Make and communicate decisions based on data and evidence
Analyze competitive offerings for your assigned product area
Work with the Customer Insights team to determine customers' needs and desires
Communicate strategy, priorities and roadmap to all relevant participants and stakeholders
Work with Design team members to prototype, test, and create compelling customer experiences
Manage scope, define goals, set priorities and manage a backlog of features
Maintain release schedule and feature roadmap for assigned development concepts
Write user stories, user acceptance criteria and define feature requirements from business and customer feedback
Help set tactical day-to-day priorities for engineering and marketing teams
Bring an exceptional product experience to market
Support Product Directors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
4+ years experience in a similar/complementary role for a web-based consumer product line
High degree of analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in all things Atlassian
