Help set tactical day-to-day priorities for engineering and marketing teams

Bring an exceptional product experience to market

The last comment is spot on. And what kind of expense would be required for San Francisco? "Locals preferred."

I am just thinking to myself..... hmmmm if State Farm has all of these talented people and a winning model

  • a world class technology design and product team (why do our tools s---?)

  • rich customer insights (not enough insight into what customers will buy or what will prevent them from cancelling policies)

  • advanced technology and data science (ok, yeah right.... we couldn’t pull of CDE/ICP and you think you are launching this thing and it’s going to be successful? That was $2B out the window, how much will this venture cost?)

Why in the world why we wouldn’t take this and apply it to our existing model and save some jobs and propel this company forward?

And no one else has pointed it out but Free catered daily lunch?????

This is State Farm's attempt to disrupt from the inside out. It will fail miserably because it will be influenced and molded by State Farm and legacy thinking. They'll no doubt end up watering it down and attaching it to an agent office or other nonsense. True innovation almost always comes from the outside.
