Paid for leads

Is this happening at your store? It was mentioned in the morning meeting that Lowes is paying associates $10.00 for each lead for the PSI/PSE sales people. Not sure it is when the lead is entered or when the sale is made. They made a big deal out of this like they are giving us a fortune for each lead. Hell Lowes gives the #48 pit crew a $480.00 bonus for every win. Clearly Lowes values the race car above its employees.

Personally I have never worked in a sales organization where the sales person didn’t generate their own leads. Our PSI person is in the back fooling around with her girlfriend in appliances while the PSE guys is busy a-- kissing so he can move into management.

Sorry Lowes $10.00 doesn’t get my attention.

I agree, make it $100.00 and I’ll make an effort.

Haven't heard this yet, but I'm sure it will roll down hill like the rest of the excrement they have been rolling out lately

Lowe's is slowly trying to go back to monetary rewards cause they know it's something people will step up for. Only way is to go back to commission and SPIFFs but we all know they don't want to hurt their bottom line. Its stupid really..

I never understand the nascar to customer connection. That money pit of race team is only a pet for Niblock. The Lowe's customer demographic isn't the Nascar demographic. Susie homemaker comes into the pick the perfect light fixture isnt' thinking about running off the race track.

It's a pet project for the upper management to make them look good and has no positive effect on sales at the store level. None!

yet another waste of money when we need more associates in the stores.
