the deployment of the MH hub model started also in EMEA in a much more aggressive way. there are 2 big countries in western Europe in which all the SSO field sales and field presales have been riffed. and I mean ALL, no one left. the plan is to roll out the same model in all remaining western Europe countries in fy20. only EECIS+CAT will have some more time.
in these 2 countries all the fy19 SSO business will be done through the OD hub in Malaga. jeez, I would fancy seeing those phone-guys selling a DR project .....or whatever.... to a telco company or a bank by conf calls.
the same model will be applied to EngSys&Cloud, but in a more relaxed way, field presales riffed in the next 6 months and then all the filed sales gone in fy20.
I doubt MH have ever understood the concept of trusted advisor. IT sales (onprem or cloud, doesn't matter) cannot be done like in a supermarket. all the big cloud players (and of course Oracle is not) have large, very skilled, highly paid field sales and presales, daily facing customers to create the relation.
only positive aspect to this is that OD is hiring like crazy. if you are ok with a <40k€ ote, it's a good opportunity.
