DSD is the reason we don't make money in N.A. It's an expensive relic from the past. Unless your all willing to take a substantial pay cut. Think of it as you would think of coal for a primary energy source. I looked at the numbers, sales down, revenue down. Can no longer compete when our cookies are the most expensive. Chop of the long tail of DSD,as Dirk called it, and our profits will increase.

Thing's have gotten worse each year. I've seen many come and go! Many great employees and not so great employees. Good luck to all! I don't know when but I feel like DSD will be ending soon.

Yep Kroger, and done very purposefully!! They make a higher margin on cheez it’s so they want to push them. See retailers are in the market of making money. Reason why they want to eliminate dsd, and reason why Mondelez has taken all the steps thus far to prepare for that. Kroger asked we pack in 6 as opposed to 12, and we did. Doesn’t help us, just them so they can reduce and in some cases eliminate bs. Since they get warehouse deliveries more often then dsd they can order a case every night. The new “Kroger experience” is all about eliminating waste, such as dsd.

We deliver obesity, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, early death, ect. It's junk food with no nutritional value. Yes, it's a gold mine for the medical establishment.
What store for they lead off the aisle? I have never seen that done purposefully.
All Keebler’s cheez it’s lead off the aisle at one of the largest retailers in the US, behind WM. Not bad for “only having Cheez it’s”. Kellogg’s is much more diversified, reason why dividends paid much more than Mondelez. Mondelez is not diversified, they have all their eggs in one basket with the power brands which are not performing well in to US, reason they bought Tate’s. Too little too late, you’ll see come September! Dsd will end! Your boss is simply repeating what is being told to him by his boss, and come September all he will say it, “we were fully committed, it’s the retailers that pulled out”. Just that simple! Watch and learn how management will handle this!!! You won’t be a believer next time, that I am sure of!!

DSD is now longer profitable! Power of dsd is selling, not tweeking! Stores want the margins back, slotting fees, etc.. We are so done!!! Been in the planning for a long time, branch closures, etc!! If you don’t see the signs you want to get your eyes checked!! Gotta be blind!

Totally agree! The cheerleaders need to wake up! DSD is ending soon! Quit buying in to what upper management is feeding you! They don't care about you!! They'll use you up till they don't need you anymore and throw you out to the curb.
