Nothing screams “Poser” to a potential recruiter as loudly as some deceitful individual who places Cornell or Harvard or ... up front, at the top of their profile, their LinkedIn Profile, as if they potentially conspired to give an illusion, to falsely claim that they had actually earned a real, genuine,hard-fought, spent-nights-too-numerous-to-count-studying life when, in reality, that individual has only either completed one course there, or has received some sort of lame “certificate” designation there, which pales in reality to the real “educated” deal. You’re like those University of Phoenix types.
Shame on you for even claiming the distinction that’s been appropriately earned by others.
Frank Burns, in MAS*H, once put in for a Purple Heart Medal for having sustained a shell fragment
injury to his eye, choosing to omit the fact it was from an egg shell.
Many of you fakes are Frank Burns. Do not detract from real, genuine, achievers.
Put your profiles right you wanna-be’s.
It’s not as if potential employers and recruiters are not gonna see through it, and label you the frauds you are.
