The market cap for SRG is 1.77B , SHLD does NOT have the higher valuation, Land's End is worth more than Sears at this point
Ok let's look at the market caps ...............
Land's End 514.43M
SHOS 64.25M (which is a considerably smaller company than SHLD , and has a healthier Market Cap for it's size.
SHLD 90.45M
@qsk, Thanks for the feedback.
and this has nothing to do with the price of beans in china.....get to work
You are using the wrong metric. (As of yesterday) SHLD is trading at a substantially higher valuation than SHOS. That order could change at any time. If nothing else changed but the stock price (for example SHLD traded traded at $200 tomorrow morning and SHOS traded at $2.87 ..OR.. SHLD traded at $ 0.84 and SHOS traded at $ 2.87 the order of valuation would be unchanged; ... that being that SHLD would have the higher valuation.
When I state nothing else changed... I mean their Market Caps remained the same tomorrow as they were yesterday (while their stock prices changed).
If their Market caps change... that gives each a different valuation and can change the order of valuation in favor of SHOS.
I am not a stock broker just a former SHLD employee that wanted to show you guys something interesting.
