Thread regarding Sears layoffs

SHOS vs LE vs SHLD vs Seritage

As of today 10/2/2018 the following stocks are:

SHLD: 84 Cents

LE: $17.16

SHOS: $2.87

SRG: $47.88

I just wanted to point out that the spinoffs are trading higher than the legacy SHLD stock. This is as of 7:46 am est pre market trading.

The market cap for SRG is 1.77B , SHLD does NOT have the higher valuation, Land's End is worth more than Sears at this point

Ok let's look at the market caps ...............

Land's End 514.43M

SHOS 64.25M (which is a considerably smaller company than SHLD , and has a healthier Market Cap for it's size.

SHLD 90.45M

You are using the wrong metric. (As of yesterday) SHLD is trading at a substantially higher valuation than SHOS. That order could change at any time. If nothing else changed but the stock price (for example SHLD traded traded at $200 tomorrow morning and SHOS traded at $2.87 ..OR.. SHLD traded at $ 0.84 and SHOS traded at $ 2.87 the order of valuation would be unchanged; ... that being that SHLD would have the higher valuation.

When I state nothing else changed... I mean their Market Caps remained the same tomorrow as they were yesterday (while their stock prices changed).

If their Market caps change... that gives each a different valuation and can change the order of valuation in favor of SHOS.
