Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Heard on West Coast, same thing! Market sales manager is still here and not leaving as of now

What region are you in, I asked the SM about this and he told me that he hasn't heard this but then again they don't tell the truth about sh--. Only what is in their best interest. They knew about layoffs and didn't say a word about it until they had too. F---ing lying bunch of a--holes

That is not true at least in two regions that I know. Market Sales Managers are still here.

When did that email go out concerning PSE reporting to ASM-Sales? I haven't heard about this, is it a rumor like a lot of the information on this site.

Manager was on a 2 hour + conference call today. MSM roll being taken back to ASM sales. Words I overheard were

“ ineffective and distant supervision of the MSM are the forces that can better be directed by an in store support system directed by the ASM. “

Door closed again shortly after.

What a mess.

My MSM didn’t seem to care. She is a self important a--hole. But, since ASM Sales got emails that PSE should now report to ASM Sales is an indication to me that MSMs are probably next.

I wanted everyone to see the caliber of employees that were treated so poorly.

They really should have suspended the program in the markets where it was not working and concentrated on learning from the markets where it was working well.
