Being senior doesn't mean your on the chopping block more than junior. Actually its the opposite.
Intel currently facing lawsuit:
According to an internal document the Journal saw, the average age of employees being laid off in one set of 2,300 layoffs in 2016 was 49 years old, an age that was seven years older than the average age of the remaining employees.
If you havent seen the GCCX video it says do to things out of my hands (aka legal didn't like the list) the separation wont happen until Feb.
So now do the math to make the average age say ~40 years old. Senior is 55 years old, now you must add two ~30 years old to make the average age of all three ~40
So you people will be needed to be chopped more to lower the average age of the list.
