Let me tell you, I am a victim of being laid off. My first reaction was how could this happen to me. As time has gone by, I say thank God it has happened to me. The organization has been declining for years. The working conditions & atmosphere is atrocious. From what I read and know from insiders, it gets worse every day. They clearly do not care anymore about their employees or the quality of work.

The focus is only to deliver , whether the quality is trash or not does not matter anymore
I work so hard for these a-- holes and not an ounce of appreciation I get from these id--ts.. Its horrible to work here.
Maybe getting work done is no longer a goal. Reducing staff and eliminating future projects are indicators that a business segment is being sold off.
Hopefully we will go to the new owner along with the business, and be better valued there.
Or, maybe we’ll get dumped too. That no longer seems like a bad thing...
True. Seems like few care whether the work done is correct or incorrect.
