To the managers not taking a moral stance against the wrong doings, it makes you compulsory and just less of a decent person, in my opinion.
You haven't refused to follow direction to purposely manufacture situations that disparage employee reputations resulting in employees being documented with less desirable performance evaluation appraisals and rated below expectations as justification for layoff.
Next, you didn't speak out vocally against Charlie's elimination of work and life balance.
Now, you are again silent. You are not warning employees that within the next year they will be told job grades are being 'reevaluated' and will be given the choice to reapply. They will be pitched this as a potentiality good thing that could or could not lead to an increase. That will be a total lie. Truth is if the employee does not reapply, they will be threatened by their manager that they may be laid off. DO NOT REAPPLY! The decision whether or not to lay you off will be based completely on your salary. If you don't reapply and they choose to lay you off you will get the severance (SUB) package. If you reapply, they will offer you a much lower salary that they have 'reevaluated ' the job grade to be and then when you refuse to accept the pay cut, it is a voluntary termination (because you applied for the job) and you will not receive any severance (SUB) pay or even unemployment insurance.
