Why is anyone doubting Lowes at this point.... heres what they excel at doing:
Never be the competition , just copy the competition
Don't structure your business to treat your employees with respect and honesty, make stuff up as you go, after all they are expendable aren't they? Who cares what they think or do!
Be unethical in your benefit and compensation programs, grab as many dollars back as possible off the hard earned dollars of your employees.
Say customer service is your first priority but don't answer the phone, don't staff the store to meet its needs and please don't waste your time helping anyone, you probably don't have any training to give them a quality answer.
Keep loading management with good old boys and girls,who think like you do, preach diversity, but really never look at ambition and quality of work to guide you. Who knows what kind of free thinker you might get who could upset the apple cart. Cronyism is the way to Vegas and Mooresville.
Make sure your upper c suite executives are grossly overpaid and kept in the ivory tower. Provide top shelf amenities, never judge, conjure up lots of omni speak and evolution while taking the wrecking ball to every pillar established over decades of hard work by your loyal associates.
and finally have everyone point at you and say why why why? Drag your legal teams out to answer these petty oversights and minor offensives, the class actions, the whining over money lost, the stockholder blindly riding a masterful manipulation until the day it all ends.
