I just had a round with a CM. It is strongly suggested that we use the resources that are "given" to us through BYOD. I was told that it is not the companies responsibility to provide TC70's to associates, Sam's / Walmart is giving you the apps for your phone. (Me) No compensation for phone bill (CM) the company gives you a discount on your phone bill (Me) provided you use the inflated AT&T, Sprint or Verizon which discounts it down to more than we are paying with Cricket, Straight Talk, etc. Some of us do not have the unlimited plan. This Club has six TC70's and Fresh keeps three of those how are we supposed to do our job? (CM) I suggest you embrace the new technology and get with the times or you will be left behind and in danger of loosing your job.
So did he just say to me to use BYOD or I could loose my job? Has this company tested this termination hypothesis with the legal department? I feel this is a way to get rid of the older associates.
I was so angry that I forgot to hit record on my phone until the last of our conversation, so if you have any conversations with management, you might want to record what is said.
