It is a sad sight when tenured associates know what good looks like and the company is running away from it as fast as humanly possible! Listening to all podcasts and town halls, about like listening to a tele- evangelist. Sounds good, even great but behind the scenes it is a free for all. Anything goes as long as we increase stock price. Tenured associates are being worn out. It does make me sad! Corporate loves to use technology as a the "evil one" and the standing joke. Its been almost a year and the jokes are still there but so is the technology. See a problem here? One telling proclamation into our new leadership was when the CEO said , " ...all the easy decisions had been made before we got here. We are making the hard ones now. Only hard decisions left!"
We- I understand he is referring to his almost 100 percent revamped upper structure but he is not taking ownership with we.
Hard decisions- how hard was it to just say close storea and programs? Seems pretty easy, when you don't want to spend the time to fix things?
High hopes with new leadership has led to unrealistic expectations for what they would do for Lowe's. Customer service is not a main priority, it is a great thing to say and sounds awesome but they are hollow words.
