May Cycle = LRs and Promos

Sales & engineering = majority of budget allocated for promos due to mid-year numbers exceeding expectations

IT = Senior VP requesting managers to trim 3-6% headcount depending on many factors

CX = Senior VP will announce phase 2 of CX restructuring during the all hands call & LRs will follow immediately afterwards. Majority of LRs will impact delivery based teams due to declining customer satisfaction ratings & bloated departmental operating costs. CMS will be merged with TAC and redundant positions will be eliminated. No promos below grade 12.

is it across Cisco? or only CX?

any idea About India resign? reason is that managers say there is no info available in SP and EN BU w.r.t Promo or Hike this time.

Cisco has quarterly stealth layoffs, and doesn't care about you at all. The executives are receiving compensation packages exceeding $15 million/year. At Cisco, the promotion just puts a LR target on your back. Why would you wait for a promotion? Use your experience at Cisco to obtain a stable job externally.

So is it confirmed everyone in CX will not receive a promo or raise? That goes for all support (TAC + AS?).

Anyone have an idea of when is a good "date to wait until to see if I get a promo"? I've been promised one for about 18 months now and tired of doing all the work in my team in the meantime, so thinking it might be time to look for another job if no promo this cycle. Thanks in advance wise internet friends.
