Only If the union is like that at fed ex or ups. The employees wear gloves when loading trucks so the company can keep track of how much work
each employee produces. They don’t fire people that aren’t productive they just don’t schedule them. As long as you aren’t in the bottom ranks
of the production reports you should be good.
I’ve got a friend that started at Fed ex a couple years ago, he’s organized works hard and the report shows it. He said he was going to make close to 6 figures with bonus. He also said the dead weight is quickly replaced.
Same with friends in the sheet metal and plumbers unions. If you do great work you make great money and are almost always working. If your work isn’t up to standards and someone needs to redo it. You don’t get scheduled.
