Jim Hobby told the center that recent survey information shows that only 25% of people are looking for jobs outside the company. It must be because the other 75% are overpaid unqualified leaders. I've always said we have way too many douchebag leaders, this just proves it. I wouldn't be looking if I was them either!

361 is right on target- the problem is that they are cutting at the wrong end. They don't need all of these overpaid VP's who do nothing. They are WAAAAYYYYYY to management heavy. If you look at all of the low level cuts made over the past 2 years, there is still TOO many managers.
147 calls it... Missed starts mean declining revenue, the schools have fixed costs ( ie leases, utilities and CAM ) that don't deminish to match enrollment. Something will have to be cut to balance the operating budget and it will be heads... that is certain.
It's only a matter of time before the big cuts start to happen. You can't keep losing hundreds of thousands of dollars a month and skip merrily along. The biggest joke is Fart Institutes. Overpriced and duping the white trash, blacks and veterans into enrolling, stealing taxpayer money and compensating enrollment in an illegal way. Success Factors in enrollment is all based on starts and everyone internally knows it. The HR people are useless. Get out on your own terms.

You would be foolish to accept the "confidentiality" of the surveys, especially when they ask what department you work in, how long you have been working there, etc. Sadly, after a lot of staff time is wasting compiling the data, we are subjected to boring powerpoint presentations where we it is explained to us that the students feel "dissatisfied" or that we need to a better job "communicating."
Month after month, edmc misses there start. Why hasn't a high level manager been let go? JG LJ SR CC ? Your start goals are either over inflated for your salary ranges or your ego. For years, you let go of the new hires smiling and dialing. Management should be let go and put someone who actually leads by example. You have actually let go of good people because they didnt drink at nakama or they didnt sleep with upper management. Its funny because this still goes on and NO ONE does anything because they too have a skeleton in their closet. I bet you cant name anyone who has previous management experience before edmc that's in charge now. Your managers have never managed before cause they are right out of college running this company into the ground. Your executives were admission reps doing this same thing 15 yrs ago. Things will not change unless a clean sweep change will happen. Until then it will always be like high school there.
