570 jobs to be cut statewide in Georgia Power, but Watkins said the total impact on employees will be less.
Georgia Power announced 570 job cuts by October, but according to Watkins only 270 employees will actually be affected since the company prepared about 300 new openings for those who lose their current jobs.
