You see people come and go all the time here, but lately, several long time employees have been MIA. It does feel like they're cutting people. Normally we have seasonal employees this time of year. This year we haven't had any.
Let me just say...getting fired or laid off from Belk was a blessing in disguise, got a better job, much better pay, much better hours, more PTO, and less stress.
If your not actively looking for a new job... dont complain when you get fired over the next 8-12 weeks! Only a fool would think thier job is safe!

I just said to a co worker there will be massive changes in Feb.
Right now they are cutting hours, no associates working the floor, and
our STH consistently missing goal because they aren’t allowed to schedule enough associates to pick and pack.
Yes when stores are only getting 600 hours at Christmas, can you image how bad it will be when it’s slow in January and February, it’s not gonna be pretty.
for goodness sake, they need to put this he-l hole out of its misery.
