I honestly cannot tell if this site is helping me or stressing me out more! I am taking this VSP but stressed my PL will deny it. So until July 15th and we all know for sure, I don’t think I will be able to breathe.

@a1 if mine is denied I keep planning to look for work and quit traditionally. They're playing with our financial stability and anxieties and my opinion of the company took a solid 180 turn after this started. Not that they care.
I'll still show up and do my best while still there but I'm done.

PL here, to date no one has told me I have any say in the approval / denial process. What I am hearing is these decisions are at very senior levels (SVP) and denial will be based ensuring entire teams are not decimated in the process. I think the anxiety of not being approved are unwarranted, a majority will get approved. I am 99% sure first line managers have almost no say in this process.
@OP if denied you can appeal but you will most likely be approved.
depending on your role, I think they're easily going to pluck people from other teams already in a similar role, especially if they were at risk of being cut from that team.
this is part of that two week period, they have to iron out the transition plan.
PL wont deny it...it comes from way up higher than PL...from everything I hear it will be honored......just take it easy and take it as it comes. and its not manager or director that makes the decision either way higher up
I hear you, but I am prepared to walk the fck away if mine is denied. I'm not doing this sht. joke's on them.
