@ac It's an acronym for an orginization, dummy... Most companies have them and Dell certainly does. ISG, CSG are some other orgs. TSA, TAMs are some others! You can't be this d-mb, right?
SRO = Security and resiliency organization; which incorporates... security! Physical security, Cyber, Data Sec ,etc... Badge swiping systems fall under SRO.
In most companies, SRO means Security Resiliency Organization. I am sure it means the same too in Dell
A simple search on Inside Dell will tell you...
SRO is an organization under legal that owns cyber and physical security at Dell.
Single Room Occupancy? No clue what SRO means. Sorry, I don't speak 25 yr old.
