The part about offshoring at least 70% of tech is true, and leaders stated this goal in a town hall over a year ago.
This isn’t breaking news.

It's actually my work model now. 70% do nothing, 30% work. Why work hard for a company actively seeking ways to replace me?

I hear only executive leaders will be kept here and the rest of the company will move to India as 80 to 90% already there. The Indians will make the executives dance in Diwali wearing funny Indian dress and garland. The executives don’t know they are being played and laughed at, and brag about their exciting visit. It is a pretend American company.

Can confirm. I know of several people who will be affected with rehires taking place offshore.

A manager mentioned this last year with normal
Optum teams as well. It seems like it sinks affecting tech for now but next year I’m afraid it’ll hit hard with intake and the non clinical teams unless the government steps in
