Any details if they got any severance / layoff / unemployment packages. Or where they outright fired since they were warned by Lumen that not taking their "similar job offers" with ATT would end this way. Will they have any recourse, has there been more than just AZ.

All folks should just retreat back, things just seem a little fishy, like no answers to folks questions about well, anything.
Union employees would have to be laid off under Article 19 of the legacy Qwest contract if they did not accept and were no longer needed.
Welcome to the Borg Cube.
You will be assimilated.
Resistance is futile.
@OP
No lumen represented techs were fired.

Liar
There's no bumping rights with CWA.
Their jobs are no longer valid with Lumen. Either take the job with ATT or leave.
@OP not true for bargained for employees
Search your email for a message from Wes Gibson dated 9/4/2025 about the Expression of Interest. It doesn't mention the termination part before people signed the EOI, and instead states employees could choose to accept or decline. If there is any legal recourse, that email would probably be the key.
In one of the emails, non-union employees were warned AFTER signing the Expression of Interest that they would be let go if they were offered jobs with AT&T and turned the offers down and that there would be no severance.
