What can those of us do that are feeling like we are being retaliated against for taking the VSP route. I do care about my job and I want to leave on good terms.

@b3 depends on how long you are gone for. I received a severance package a few years back. And was hired again 2 years later. I didn’t have to pay it back. It depends on length of time away.
It is smart to look at all sides. You want to make sure you are not overthinking it, or maybe the other person is just dealing with a lot of stress.
I have noticed slight differences already. I am getting are different responses they definitely lack the same thank you as before.
If you take VSP and you decide to come back later you will have to pay that money back.
All you can do is wait till monday the 27th when we find out about the VSP approval process and if you get your date.. work and keep your head down a document anything that seems off after you find out about the VSP from your PL's. And if you are in a state where you wont get paid your pto take a few days off if you can and shorten your time.
