Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

The best people aren't complaining, they're leaving

Nobody's hearing the top performers gripe about how bad things are, and that's not because they're fine with it. They're just quietly working their networks, sending out applications, and planning their escape without making a scene. By the time leadership realizes they're gone, it'll be too late because all the people who actually carried the weight will have already found their way out.

Ready to retire but did not take the VRP. Just taking it easy and doing the absolute minimum until they figure it out and kick me out with 6 months severance. I am told I am in the top performer in the group, so I think my teammates are doing the same or even less.

Leaving the toxic culture was one of the best decisions I've ever made

Happy to be gone and collecting severance. There is life after Cigna. Network, network, network!

Im probably not the top performer lol but I am riding it out at least another year or two to pay off debt. I’m letting whatever happens happens. My supervisor is also a micro manager so I have that on my a-s. I get pip threats and disciplinary actions at the drop of a hat so idk lol. I also got a pip threat before my pto for my bday last year and I almost want another one just to see something. lol if I do get one I’ll put a request in the HR portal to get it over with already and start the process. I’ll update if that happens
