I think they are making small cuts to avoid bad press, government scrutiny as Citi has been hiring aggressively in India and other countries but firing folks in US.
Confirmed - my team in Risk was hit - not many, but still consistent with the previous cuts in the past 2 years. All locations affected. Predominantly long-serving / expensive employees.

Why focus on locations and so much LOB? Tampa and Irving have so many roles and LOBs it’s not really meaningful to just say specific locations.
