I've heard that only sales will have layoffs, all the "new way of doing business" is all sales related.
Other orgs won't be getting cut

@ek I think I got tipped off on why.
Take it with probably a pound of salt.
AEs may start to sell additional products than they are now. It was told to me as any, but that seems an awful lot at once.
That would permit layoffs, or reduce commission for AEs thay had less product coverage for what they sold.
I can see it as a tossup if accurate. Good AEs that learn the products may get more, bad AEs getting punished for fumbling. But if it also means layoffs and the bad ones stay, plus no new resources to compensate we're going to have a lot of AEs asking my team to do extra. Including under-the-table fixes for things they either did not or couldn't check for.
Should that be right, AE competition would be inevitable, but I'm unsure if OT will properly prepare them for it.
why would they have SKO and train reps they plan to can the next week? Waste of money
It's a red herring. Lots of money being spent on SKO
No but I do know some Sales people who are fumbling a major deal - am I allowed to volunteer them?
