I just realized why it was a Model T moment. They have been pushing the EV thing too much, just like the original Model T was in production for way too long until they finally came up w/ the Model A. What we need is a Model A moment! A realization that we have been sticking to the prior strategy too long.

Does anyone think of the term "reinvented the wheel" here and how ludicrous it all is? One of the biggest nothing burgers since the mach-e flop.

@OP

Never did. Anyone that depends on Ford management for anything aside from incompetence has failed themselves and anyone who depends on them.

The Mach-meh didn’t sell.
The F150 Lightning didn’t sell.
What makes them think that this pos is going to sell?
BF needs to step down.
The BoD needs entirely new members.
JF should have been fired long ago.
And most, if not all, of upper management should follow him right out the door.

This “Model T” moment is going to be the final act of this clown show. $10B down the drain but somehow these guys got to make the next move. They canned FNV4 and pinned their hopes on this. Even with their handpicked “Apple Genius” team, they didn’t sound confident of delivering..

I think it's wild that Farley called this revolutionary. You mean modularization is revolutionary? I don't think so

Looking forward to getting my lease. It will be an amazing truck. For $300 a month, it will be a great bargain.

The first one won't roll off the line until 2027. By then, a third of us won't be around since the company wants to cut costs.

Ground breaking assembly process....it comes in three pieces and you slap it together...did they not meet the requirements to satisfy the free EV federal money from Biden? I'll have to admit I'm a little confused and concerned.

Model T moment was the first, the next one will be a Mustang moment and more after. Each event, will surpass anything Ford as a company has ever accomplished.
