State Farm rolls out voluntary exit option, says layoffs in "limited scenarios"

The mutual insurer expects layoffs to occur only in "limited scenarios based on business area needs." Morss-Fischer stated, “These changes are part of our continued efforts to shape a stronger, more flexible organization for the future,” in comments provided to AM Best.

My dept was told the same thing last week. Basically they'll ask for volunteers to quit, if they don't get enough volunteers, expect severance aka layoff

We were told this morning if you don’t take voluntary you would go to involuntary status basically layoff. Everyone is jumping ship in our department.

Most of the wfh need to be laid off. Too many are milking the system big time. The government has been a fine example of this. SF is no different.
