What makes you thing that layoffs will stop when TK quits?
In spite of considerable efforts - huh, sorry, considerable layoffs - TK has not been able to find anyone interested in buying CSG. And the more time is passing, the more it becomes difficult to find a possible buyer.
Personally, I believe it won't happen. Actually, I believe nobody is interested because there is no more possible cost-cutting. No golden parachute for TK, poor boy.
Now, golden parachute or not, CSG sold or not, w/wo TK, I can hardly imagine any new management that would not start by another round of cost-cutting measures.
@2b9 I'm shocked that you think it's BS because it's not. you may be either part of high management which in that case just go out or you don't discuss with people and trust them when they say all is fine.

Had he left Citrix in 2012, his achievements would have been immortal. Had he left in 2019, he would still have been a great man but flawed. But he was laid off in 2026. Alas, what can one say?
My heart goes out to all of you still there. I remember the feeling every year, the anxiety and uncertainty waiting to see if your number was called, then the relief the day after the layoffs that they passed over you. What an emotional roller coaster causing so much unnecessary stress, not only affecting you but your immediate family. Those anxieties cause health issues and mental fog for days.
I wish the best for all of you still there. If anyone is reading this and worried, I can tell you that my number was called in Jan of 2025 and there is life after Citrix that can and will be much better. Better pay, less stress, fully remote - it's all out there. Don't beat yourself up if you are let go. Pick yourself up and know better times are coming.
