@qw in Spain they need a formal com from the WoC at least 1-2 months in advance - wont probably happen until end of August…
@qw I think finished previous round of layoffs in January so don’t expect to be done soon in this round
Next country in EMEA could be likely Spain, this coming week
Romenia, +500 already impacted with layoffs.
@cf which org?
yes, layoffs started this month in Poland. Several people were affected
Somebody left info that Poland is in progress…Can you confirm?
They will keep circling the globe, like an old rusty merry go round tossing people off.
@b2 they're already doing it - I have some good friends who were managers in ISC who were let go. So that can be crossed off your wish list. :)
They should lay off India again + Indian management.. Oracle nepotism is just as strong as when the feds sued them years ago for it
Ai says
“ Oracle has already taken about $1.8 billion of restructuring charges, and there may be roughly $300 million of additional restructuring costs left under the current plan if management completes it as presently estimated.”
And that is the right way to see it. It might be none of the $300m. It might be another $1.3b if needed.
Send the latest 10k through ai. There’s something like $385 million left that was originally slotted for restructuring costs
It is a continuous cycle so it is probably about time for the US to get hit again.
