@fk engineers are good at engineering, but not necessarily at managing. Hopefully she either has some training in HR or just has a knack for it.

@ac we don't the are an obstacle to actually do what needs to be done which is fire underperformers instead of PIPs and more grow conversations, and more performance conversation, etc. etc.

And replaced by a non HR person. Not sure what to think-- better without KD, for certain, but an undercut to the function. Reads very much as if we don't need professional HR people and that we don't value that kind of work.
