I am based out of St. Paul location in BT business team and was just notified an hour ago. Been with the company for 30 years. They offered 1.5 weeks pay with 26 weeks cap. Any others got notified today?

New F1 sponsorship being measured in layoffs per mile.
At this point, with how poorly I'm being treated, I would like to be laid off. Every time my e-mail chimes I hope it's something from HR.
That way I won't have to be stuck in a toxic hellhole while I'm job searching.
Its been an end of the quarter syndrome now. People being let go to make the next quarter look good.
I’ve seen so many ‘retirement’ posts on LinkedIn yesterday and today. Are they really retiring or are many people being let go?
Look up BB and Wikipedia makes reference to poor employee treatment at L3 Harris - same playbook just being applied to 3M now.
Bill Browns is fully responsible for this. 3M is likely one of the most toxic workplace environments in the corporate world currently. Run away!

I was laid off today. It was very much seen coming for the past 2 months as we transitioned our roles to contractors.

Some people get promoted for no apparent reason, while others are laid off for no apparent reason.
This has become the “new normal” at this company. As a veteran employee who has worked at this lousy company for 30 years, I truly believe that the person who was laid off created far more value than the one who just got promoted. Sadly, no one cares anymore about the future of this century-old company.

Yes heard the same. 3 people from my team got meeting invites from HR. This company is a sinking ship and no body is secure.
