@a5 oh god please lay me off before that is rolled out. The current customer service AI systems are hot garbage. The recommendations given on the overview page are usually wrong or have nothing to do with the conversation. If what you said is true then people’s accounts are about to be decimated by reps that trust the AI. I am not interested in cleaning that mess up at all. Whatever model is being used in ACSS isn’t worth the RAM it is using.
@a1 outside plant is the most secure .
Retail.
@dt here on TheLayoff, of course
WHERE is everyone hearing July 16????
No group is safe.
They’ve been working on a “unified experience” for a long time. However, our IT and systems people are terrible. Things break down, and we don’t know for months! There’s no faith in any of the systems being “unified.”
consumer finance confirmed
Internal CS isn't safe at all... VZ is already working on a unified platform where all the tabs in our systems will not be here anymore. So imagine one screen that gives you answers and you ask questions. Basically like a Google search page. This will require minimal training for new agents and limited cognitive load for pso agents. I believe this will launch by year's end. So get that resume ready.
Well cases from pso will slow down as most cases will require active tickets in other systems as of July. Simply put, most cases will stay within the pso and not go to internal. Right now the time between calls seem short but VZ is looking to launch more AI in July and prior to end of year. So if not July then expect reduced staffing in Q4.
Internal Customer Care is probably the safest group in the company at the moment.
