Cuts after the holiday

I'm on edge about whether there will be cuts this week. I wouldn't put it past them to do it just after the holiday.

@dx Must be laying off the expensive people (ie higher performers) while leaving the cheap people (ie low performers).

@dq Exactly the same in my area. Loads of obvious low performers still in their jobs and most of the top performers gone.

The VP I work under spent much of the week before the holiday laying people off. My group is half the size it was this time last year. Some let go were high performers. A couple still here are… questionable. Staff I thought would be cut due to laziness still here.
