Glad I wasn't hired then. After applying to several jobs and a few interviews. They went in a different direction. I can see now where they went. Blessing in disguise!
Voip is horrible at Lumen. Anyone have proof otherwise?
@cr Not true, VOIP has come a long way including for things like elevator lines. The FCC mandated development of new reliable replacements. As for homes, hardly anybody has a landline anymore and the sky hasn’t fallen yet.

No. Zero layoffs have or will be occurring. Ever. Now you dont need to come back every month to ask.
I’ve heard about rifs for the past 2 months.
I know 2 people from another team close to mine who got hit that weren’t in voice. Supposedly more coming in October but I’m unsure. Just the name of the game anymore.
Voip will be the only option for the customers and unreliable completely.
Voice will be gone by end of the year, with more layoffs in other groups until KJ is satisfied.
