Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

09/04 Separation date

I applied for VSP and I can honestly say that after 15 yrs with company I am ok if they offer an earlier separation date than 09/04. I’m truly exhausted with all the changes within the company over that past few years. I don’t know what the future holds for me but I’m gonna step out on faith. My mental can’t survive this place much longer. Anyone else feeling like this?

Absolutely feeling this way - I think most of us are navigating severe BURNOUT - if they reject me I'll be quitting ASAP, like I'm sure a lot of us will be..

Legacy WellCare employee with almost 18 years altogether. I have been unhappy since Centene bought WellCare and it just continues to get worse and worse. I thought I would retire here but I cannot take it anymore. I am counting down the days until July 27.

Please let us know what they deduct from your severance. That’s been a guessing game. I’m thinking of vacation time wasn’t 0 at 8/31, and you used unearned accrued time, they may deduct that. Thinking health insurance premiums, tuition reimbursements, and wondering if they wait to pay out until after equipment is returned. Thanks for your transparency.

Every time I receive an email, I’m hoping it’s HR wanting to let me know I can be done that day! Until that day comes will just continue to do whatever is necessary to remain eligible for the VSP.
