Received the VRP are you sure you want to leave email today. I have honestly kept an open mind since being offered the VRP for a second time. There hasn’t been any action/thought/reason that has convinced me to stick it out here.

@wm,

Talent will be leaving and the newest employees do not want to learn the business. We work in a highly regulated business of manufacturing, warehousing and transportation. They are more concerned about door dashing their next meal in the company Amex.

No wonder why the 3PL model is sticking around.

@w0 No. We need people with business knowledge.

First wave of VRP exits will be August 22. Don’t hold your breath, only very few people accepted. If the first exit date was just few months later in the year, there would be much higher interest.

I am hearing that the majority of the VRP’s will be executed on the August date.

5 weeks and another talent exodus.

Everyone ready?

Time it right. My boss told me she had 5 years left and was very well respected. Knowing I was in my final role and I wouldn’t have to deal with a mo--n manager I hung on and scooped a VRP years later.

@as I turned down a VRP, and took one two years later. Saying that people shouldn’t refuse one to have a better situation is delusional.

@fn that’s only because they have not set themselves up for retirement. Layoffs will follow so leave on your own terms or be forced out.

I know 6 coworkers who got the offer and none of them are taking it.

this is the first vrp since the pension was officially sealed 12/31/2025, so imo it will likely get a lot of volunteers

Why isn’t it offered to S&T? I know several that would take the VRP if it were offered to that group

If you haven't taken one of the 5-10 VRP offered from 2023, you shouldn't be allowed to take one. You just can't look at the golden egg and turn it down. You're being greedy.

Get out. The company thinks you need to execute better and faster with more urgency. They do not appreciate your work and doing the jobs of multiple people. Seriously out of touch and ungrateful for suffering through their poor strategy.

One would need to be a certified dunce to not take it… Or, perhaps an unhirable basket- case; as the concept of double-dippin’ is an opportunity that doesn’t come around very often
