Yep, it's at least DCG. They are letting go of more senior people, looks like grades 8+.
Yesterday was just DCG, the entire event is larger. LBT wanted 75k last time. We’ll get there easily this time. Good luck everyone. Don’t forget, no matter what, the sun still rises every day and this too will pass.

@en Don't be surprised that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, especially between manufacturing and the design teams.

@c3 it's interesting how folks keep claiming employees are being laid off, yet no one is willing to say where. Seems like y'all are actively making sh-t up to stress people out
4 weeks pay and 1.5 weeks pay for years served with 1 year cobra.

Which groups are impacted? Literally have not heard of a single person in SW getting laid off (except for the big boss herself).
What areas are impacted? Yesterday was the last day of the week for shift 4 and 5 and none of the techs around me got laid off or heard about others who had.
I'm on a block full of other Intel employees. None I work with but many I'm good friends with. Me, after 25 years at the company I'm just numb. It happens or it doesn’t. But if I survive, seeing the toll it will take on others will be heart breaking. And if I survive, I don't know what Intel expects me to be working for. We can't live under the constant threat of layoffs and care about saving the company.
Hearing the package is comparable. No details though, could be the same, or not. If anybody finds out please share. Good luck, all
