Well the news is out…. Over 250 stores, directors, sr directors…all because someone “accidentally” sent the email out today instead of tomorrow

This is definitely true. All stores that were safe were on one call, the ones not safe on another.. was supposed to happen today but got accidentally sent out early. So all store closures got informed yesterday. Today they will be notifying individuals that are being impacted.
Not fake at all.. this is very real we will all know by 8:30am tomorrow morning
So we can't even do a layoff correctly. Brilliant.

All the people on here saying it’s not true ki-l me. Guess they will see tomorrow.
They sent out an email on the East Coast by mistake so they had to inform stores affected nationwide ASAP. Hearing though that others within VZ will get told tomorrow as well. But retail was informed today without any major details. Don’t know if anyone else in retail is affected or not at the stores not being divested
From what I have gathered. The email that came out was an email talking about the part of the process for handing over a store to an indirect agent. Email went to the Senior Managers at the stores that are being divested and maybe the retail director that covers that location. I know of a retail director who is impacted on the west coast. Not sure if they were supposed to find out today but since the email went out a day early by accident I think they had to fill in some retail directors a day early.
So let’s call the stores directly and ask them !!!
@a8 not fake. All corporate stores in Tulsa and surrounding areas closing, leaving only OKC with corporate stores. The email did come out today. Not sure about other states, but feel really bad for all those affected.

@a2 this 1000% true and legit. It’s terrible that they are claiming this was an “accident” and now for the additional details the impacted stores have to wait until the scheduled call tomorrow… how could this “accidentally” happen. They just want people to be able to “cool down” tonight. It’s wild. I was not impacted according to that email but I am disgusted.
