@ah I appreciate your concern about my being..but I could really give 2 fu--s about you or even the company or other union members because when I retire in 3 yrs I won't think about this place or other dou--ebag liberal fu--ing id--ts like yourself..have a wonderful life getting pounded by the union

@a3 I am in the union but not a union guy. Don't really like the political people they support but who do you think fixes all the outside plant and the orders for phone service. To say the union employees are worthless is narrow minded as he-l and im sure a monkey could probably do your job.

@OP because Unions work is based on a Contract!...the word Contract....get it?... They get lots of benefits by joining the Union and signing the contract, the fact that it gives job stability it's just a heck of a benefit alone......if there was a way for engs or others to join they'd will not hesitate but it is not allowed

Because Verizon’s leadership is afraid of unions. They brought it upon themselves when they merged landline services with wireless as one company. Dum--ss move.

What are you talking about? Union reps get laid off all the time, it depends on the type of job they have but the union has never blocked a lay off.
