Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Anyone know what specific Legg org VP/SVP teams will surplus in September?

I've heard more surplus is coming in September, and I am hoping I'm on that list! I asked to be on the July surplus and was told my department wasn't impacted so I could not be included. Any chance I will be on it in September? Specifically looking for impacted VP/SVP teams under Legg.

@d6 can you give some examples of benefits you had that were taken away?

Sure enough, where do we start? No more healthcare in retirement, no more gap insurance, vacation days taken away, reduction in the match, healthcare gets cr-ppier every year and I am sure I am missing other bennies that have gone bye bye so others can weigh-in.

How Stankey took away so many benefits while continuing his $20+M salary is still unbelievable.

Something is so wrong / corrupt it he was selected as Chairman of the Board.

Surprised no reporter type or news outlet is picking up AT&T’s story of steady demise/decline and sharing with the public. Stank needs to be exposed for what he did and continues to do.

@e5 Three holidays and they’ve already removed Juneteenth from our company holidays.

@dg 5 vacation days for 3 holidays in return. Total BS. F this place and these so called “leaders” you’re a fool for praising them.

Make sure you’re not in the lowest 20% of your work group.

@dg how about the benefit of an assigned desk. Or privacy peace and quiet to focus. Not a Third world call center environment. Are you new here or just restarted?

@dg no commute for one. I worked virtually for nearly a decade before Covid. As I was hired to do.

@bw Well, the C-Suite has taken away benefits that I was promised when I started here15 years ago. They can now pay me to leave to make up for those broken promises.

@bw

I know lots of people who hang on to be fired. It totally makes sense to get severance to leave than to leave on your own and get nothing.

Anyone not understanding that is the insane one.
