Has anyone been able to negotiate their separation date or withdraw their VSP? Mine is for May 2027 and at this point I rather withdraw the VSP if possible because this is laughable. My PL informed me I could withdraw last week and I declined as I didnt know the sepeartion date would be so far out

Called the VSP line today. Said the end date can’t be changed or appealed. Basically take it or leave it. I’m leaving it and not giving another 8 months of my life with no guarantees of getting any of the severance package that was offered. Peace Out!

Months? If you require my assistance for almost a year then why didn’t u reject my application! That would make sense and be less underhanded. I agree I would rather just stay at this point.
There is no negotiation. If you do not agree with the separation date, you can quit before then and not be entitled to any VSP. We are at will and free, if you want your offer, stay put and wait it out ….. make sure you do your job and don’t end up on a PIP because if so, offer is off the table and they are still separating with you based on your signature of voluntarily leaving but with no package as you did not adhere to the terms
