Sounds like there has been rolling layoffs through some depts over the last week or two, and we all remember what happened in the week following the 4th in 2024.

I don't know what next week holds, but don't forget what we've all done for this company over the years. If layoffs come next week, remember that it's not a reflection on you. Layoffs are a failure of senior leadership and strategy, not the employee base doing the day-to-day work.

Enjoy your weekend, CUSA team! I hope the beer is cold, the grills are hot, the A/C is powerful, and the explosives safe and hilarious! I look forward to lambasting senior leadership next week if talented people lose their jobs to the Ai fantasy and vendor pool. (If it's any consolation, I used a hoard of Canon's Ai tokens on pointless nonsense today because I could and we were told to use Gemini, right? LOL)

This may be off topic , sorry. I would like to speak my peace. I been with AT&T for many many years, we managers were told today that we will not get another day off to make up the fourth of July . And all the years that I have worked at AT&T if your day off came up to be a holiday, you would get an extra day off through the week. I was told that would Thursdsy day off, however, as I was leaving the office today I was told that doesn’t happen anymore. We all have to work five days and we’ll get Saturday off.

My question is, is this a new thing that’s going on with all the centers or just our center in Florida?
