I made it through the layoff the last few times and now I'm drowning in everyone else's work.

The "open to work" icons on LinkedIn nowadays are both a bit sad and a bit humorous. I wish everyone the best but golly!
@OP Just say "no". Eventually you will be cut someday, so why bother. Life here is tough enough already, don't carry somebody else's work on your shoulders.
