June 14th layoffs

I'm curious to see if all those claiming union layoffs are correct.

No one should be posting here without at least VPN obfuscation. Manage your OPSEC, kids. The odds of them going after individuals for telling the truth is pretty small though. Those clauses are mostly for bigwigs getting giant golden parachutes, not the working class types.

Spouse here. Be very careful reading any rules or TOS they might send along with the email and paperwork. When I lost my job last year, the severance rules said that if I badmouthed the company the money would be stopped.

You can always fudge the info a little that "I know somebody who..."

Interestingly, I looked at the Verizon threads and there is a TON of overlap about a clueless C-Suite, layoffs, pay, morale, etc.

Thank you in advance to those who have been/are/will be posting about this. It's given me help having supportive conversations with Hubs and given him some info about what's happening outside of our Midwestern area.
