Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Countdown to extinction

They get rid of all the sales reps, they start writing everyone up working them 12-13 hour days, they quit...reps leave October, MOW stay until Jan 1st to make it smoother transition...then we are done like the elves.

@m5 Shame on you! Are you mental? We don't have jobs. We are all being eliminated. We have a job until October 2nd. There's a new position becoming available, that yes, everyone can apply for. That is not a job guarantee. There's a reduction in positions available, so not everyone will be able to continue to work here, even if they want to. The new position is ridiculously underpaid for what the expectations are. Next time you post something, don't take a hit off your pipe first!

You must be in management. This company is taking advantage of every worker and piling on ridiculous amounts of work. F those greedy ba----ds. I'm going to take the buyout and do sh-t the next 3 months til they pay me to leave.

@fm shame on you.
If you’re that unhappy go get another job. Really, we should be thankful we have a job, my opinion.
What if you lost this job and you couldn’t find another job? You MIGHT want this one back.

Changing the order isn’t the issue. You can just select them out of order. The app is clunky. The map showing the driver isn’t accurate. You can’t zoom in to street level to see what road the driver is on. There isn’t a route listing to see where the driver is headed or what stop they are on so it’s just a guessing game. I’ve gotten a notification saying the delivery ETA for a store is 10:06am when I just walked away from the driver at a totally different store and it was 10:00am and the store with an ETA of 10:06am is 45 minutes away. It has a ton of operational fixes before it’s ready to be rolled out. BUT Mondelez is a multi billion dollar corporation so we will probably roll it out for total use on Monday, no matter if it actually works or not.

@c1 I don't want to hold it down with my finger and change it. I want to be able to do my job without all this bullsh-t!

I'm well aware the order of stores CAN be changed, but they don't want them changed unless absolutely necessary. How does that give RTM any sort of freedom, as a salaried manager to do the job? I've heard RTM doesn't have to do the GPS, but I'll believe it when I see it. Also, may start out not doing it, but it will come. One thing for sure about Mondelez is they like to be up in everyone's business. Micromanaging is the name of the game. Probably paying 3 people to monitor each RTM, making sure the RTM is slaving away appropriately. Those of you newer here, you'll learn real quick you're "owned"

@am
On Bringoz you can rearrange the stores.
Whichever store you want to change the order of hold that store down with your finger and you can move it to a different placement.
It does work.

@a2 they eliminated RMS position they cut some territories in my area that went in March, made some bigger cut independent store - went warehouse had some new programs which don't work RTM positions just making a St a mgr with exempt salary no of so you need to work your territory when you MOW is on vacation out sick or just can't do the job so that salary increase is far less then you think when your working 7 days a week

@am Are you talking about BringOz? It’s extremely frustrating. Especially knowing how far behind the deliveries can get. Drivers fighting with other vendors and receivers. The app is supposed to show where the truck is and ETAs but it needs a ton of work. I’m pretty sure it is some middle schoolers class project right now.

Anyone can see they are cutting down the labor to the point where eventually it goes directly to the store...eliminates everyone....it just takes time. They are just cost cutting for now. Same thing as Mission One but worse.

Yeah, the new scheduling program su-ks! It's going to tell you what order to do your stores in. It's going to be a hassle, with a bunch of extra steps. Absolutely micromanaging to the point of they want to know how many hairs are in your nose!

This makes no sense...y promote SRs to RTMs just end everything a few months later? Plus other new roles, plus the new scheduling program. What u are saying just doesn't make sense. Just stirring the pot.
